Jewel is a talented OTTB with great potential, looking for her next rider. She loves spending time in the woods and would make an excellent hunter pace horse. Jewel can get a bit hot at times while out in the woods, but she seems to enjoy herself. Under saddle, shes fantastic - walking, trotting, cantering, and even doing changes with ease. She's been well-schooled in the ring and is fabulous to ride, but she does have some behavioral quirks on the ground. Despite trying various solutions (Regumate, Ulcer Guard, Sucralflate, chriopracter, osteopath, vet appointments, and even a psychic) we've not been able to fully pinpoint the cause of her mood swings.
We're hoping to find someone expericenced who can figure out how to work with her, and in the meantime, enjoy the wonderful horse she is under saddle. Advanced rider/Handler only.
